Nadia Lyngdoh-Sommer '25 Singapore
Nadia is studying Sociology and Policy Studies at the Maxwell School. She grew up in Singapore for most of her life. Nadia works as a Leadership Intern at the Mary Ann Shaw Center and as a Literacy Corps tutor in the Syracuse community. Her experience growing up shaped her strong commitment for community engagement which is why she decided to join the Honors Program and work at the Shaw Center, which have allowed her to create strong bonds in the community. Currently, she is also a Student Research Fellow at the Lender Center for Social Justice, working very closely with the Syracuse community for the research. Nadia is also the business manager of Main Squeeze Acapella, which has enabled her to continue her passion for performing in addition to her academic work at Syracuse.
