What was your focus at Syracuse University and what are you doing now?

I completed my MA in International Relations with focus on development economics, global governance, and ICT policies. I am now at the Consulting Division of Gartner and working with the Japanese clients to help elevate them on to the global stage.

What is your favorite SU memory?

My favorite SU memory would have to be the beautiful diamond dust that occurred during the winter. Another cherished memory from my time at SU would be my first encounter with Starbucks. These moments, both the breathtaking natural beauty and the small comforts, really stand out as some of my fondest memories at SU.

Why is it important to give back to Syracuse University?

Syracuse University not only provided me with a world-class education, but it also opened the door to countless opportunities that shaped my personal and professional growth. Just as the university opened the gates to the world for me, I want to make sure that prospective students know those gates are there for them as well. Whether it’s through financial support, sharing my experiences, or offering guidance, giving back is my way of ensuring that others can experience the same life-changing opportunities that I did.

What does being a member of The Hill Society International (leadership giving) mean to you?

To me, becoming a member of The Hill Society International goes beyond just making a financial contribution. It’s about giving back to the institution that helped shape who I am today, and ensuring that future generations of students have the same opportunities to succeed. It’s also an opportunity to reconnect with Syracuse University’s vast network of alumni around the world.
