Nabil Habayeb Sr '80, G'82
Nabil A. Habayeb Sr.’80 G’82 is senior vice president of GE and president and CEO of GE International Global Markets. He was recently ranked number one of The Top 100 Executives in the Middle East by Forbes Magazine. His career with GE began in 1982 and has led to multiple international field assignments. Nabil also serves on the boards of INJAZ AL Arab, the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington, DC, the Arab Forum for Environment and Development, and the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council. He is also a trustee of the American University in Beirut.
Nabil and his wife, Anne (Bajjaly) Habayeb, emigrated to the US from Palestine and both grew up in Syracuse. They have three adult children and several generations of family members who have attended Syracuse.
Nabil is a founding member of the MENAT Regional and has assisted the University with several alumni and development events in the region and on campus.
